雪国で感じたこと、乾燥ってすごい!

What I felt in a snowy country is how dry it is!

Last week I went on a business trip to the Tohoku region. After heading north to Sendai and Iwate Prefecture at the beginning of the year, this time I went to Yamagata Prefecture. I planned to stay for two nights and three days, but I forgot my favorite eye drops, so my eyes became dry and it was a pain. The weather was clear and there was no sign of snow or rain . Yamagata Prefecture is also famous as a ramen prefecture, so I indulged in ramen for lunch and dinner (it's hard to write dinner), visiting a total of five restaurants. I was guided by a local noodle manufacturer, so both were famous restaurants! Both the noodles and soups were well-crafted, and it was a fun noodle experience.

When I got back to the hotel, I took the usual measures to prevent dryness, such as filling the humidifier and bathtub with hot water, and hanging out my quickly washed underwear in the bathroom, but as I wrote at the beginning, I was surprised that even the inside of my eyes had become dry and I couldn't easily remove my contact lenses. I washed my eyes with a storage solution (containing special tear ingredients) and managed to remove them.

My skin would be very dry the next morning, and I usually use an all-in-one product before and after shaving after washing my face to prevent razor burn, but I also used it on my face, arms, and around my shins first thing in the morning.

Then, before using the hotel's T-shaped razor, I applied GA Cosmetics All-in-One Gel as a base around my mouth, then I simply lathered up the shaving cream that came with the razor . This is a tip for when you're on a business trip that a customer once told me about. Also, a customer from the north told me that the gel hardens, so I moved the "All-in-One Gel" from the cold bathroom to the bedroom.

Japan is a long country stretching from north to south, and I realized that even the same product can be affected by the climate of the area it is used in. There is no need to heat it, but I recommend storing cosmetics at room temperature (avoiding extremely low temperatures) .

So, let's continue smiling with "Goodness Aging!"
