Razor burn and washing your face

When using a razor, one thing you may wonder is whether you should wash your face before or after.

-When using a T-shaped razor, I use shaving foam (also to test other companies' products), so I wash my face after shaving to remove the foam.

・When using an electric shaver, I use an all-in-one gel first, and then I wash my face with a foaming cleanser. My skin has become such that I can no longer use other companies' products.

[The above and the following are my personal experiences and opinions]

I say I use a razor to mow the lawn in my garden, but I don't have a garden or a lawn until I go back to my parents' house, and weeds sometimes grow. Well, my family does the work of pulling them out on weekends...

Let's get back to the point, if there are weeds or debris when using a lawnmower, won't the grass be cut unevenly? Well, debris is probably sucked into the lawnmower, which is not good for the machine. It's like a vacuum cleaner sucking in large debris, and solid objects in particular seem to be bad for the machine and blades.

So I looked at a number of electric razor manufacturers and T-shaped brand websites. Although it varies depending on the blog, most electric shavers recommend washing your face first. This is because washing your face removes dead skin cells and germs on the skin, and it also softens the beard a little. However, in the case of T-shaped razors, it is sometimes better to have a harder beard, so some recommend washing your face afterwards.

I remember one time when I was getting my beard shave with an I-shaped razor at the barber shop, they put a warm towel over my face, and it felt so nice because it softened my beard.

Now, when I think about razor burn, I sometimes feel that the electric shaver glides better on clean skin without old dead skin. Since I don't shave too hard, the impact of shaving seems to be less.

Of course, if the facial cleanser has a moisturizing feel, I feel less stinging after shaving. It's only been about two weeks since the product was released, but I've used the sample product many times, so I know that this is the kind of feeling my facial cleanser has.

Indeed, its efficacy as a quasi-drug is to "cleanse, sterilize, and disinfect the skin, and prevent body odor, sweat odor, and acne," so it goes well with all-in-one gels that prevent razor burn!
