This month, I went on a business trip to a state-of-the-art cosmetics factory in western Japan to hold a meeting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have refrained from visiting even during the production of our own products, so this time we visited a new factory that was just completed this April.
The highlight is the extraction kettles shown in the photo. There are six kettles, each weighing 600 to 750 kg, lined up in two rooms. The entire room is air-conditioned to cool down and control the temperature, and there are few people working there, with mechanization and robot assistance.
The entire factory is equipped with facilities at the level of a quasi-drug, and on the packaging line there was an astonishing number of employees working efficiently and efficiently, adjusting the detailed wrapping and sealing.
They will also be expanding their production lines for face washes and balms, so we got some hints for the next product development!
